Forest Garden

Forest planting

The ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Forest Garden is a new outdoor community space that sits between Pocket Park and ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Church. With help from ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø staff, families, and many other volunteers, the area has been planted with hundreds of hedges, ~80 trees and other plants, with a focus on those that are edible, usable or have other ecological benefits. As the garden matures, it will enrich local biodiversity and create a community space for local people to enjoy and where kids can learn about planting and harvesting. This project was developed with ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Parish Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Research Campus and village resident, Hannah Thomas.
